Firefox 2.0 Plugin-collection

Some of the most important plug-ins for Firefox 2.0 (from my point of view):
Adblock - blocks Flash and Image Ads
Download Statusbar - adds a small statusbar for Downloads
Greasemonkey - allows to use scripts from www.userscripts.org
Image Zoom - zooms Images by right-click + mousewheel
Mouse Gestures - enables Firefox to be controlled by mouse gestures
Page Update Checker - checks pages for content updates(news, forums,...)
Tab Mix Plus - enhances the Tab-Browsing functionality of Firefox
VideoDownloader - creates links to download videos from Youtube, GoogleVideo, etc.

have fun and surf securely....

Nice shot with Olympus EVOLT E-330

This is a photo of one of my cousins taken with my fathers's Olympus EVOLT E-330 and a ZUIKO 18-180mm zoom.

The H10 Project PART I

On Tuesday I dropped my iRiver H10 and its HDD got too much of that dropping.
Back home I looked for a new HDD, as a replacement it costs about 120€ ($150), but if you buy a Seagate USB PocketDrive 5GB you get it for about 70€ ($85).
So I ordered one and I will hopefully be able to repair my lovely H10.

Here you can have a look on its parts

Teaed iBOOk

Last summer a friend of mine dropped some Ice Tea on his 4 month old iBOOK.
And now he wants to sell single, not damaged, parts and also wants his data recovered and erased.
I offered my help; this way I got the chance to see the inner of an iBOOK.
It's really tight inside and Apple produces highest quality (I had to remove nearly 200 screws to get inside;-).

and here it is:

The Uptime-Project

I'm now an official supporter of the "Uptime-Project".
The U.-P. tries to collect information about the reliability of computer systems and OS and offer them to people or companies who want to invest into new high reliable computers.

Pimp my KitKat

Pimp My Snack aims on pimping fingerfood and snacks upto the biggest possible variant.
This way they produced a huge KitKat-Block and they also offer the instructions to do it yourself..

Makes me hungry......

Fake MSI 8822 nVIDIA Geforce 3pro ?

Today I tried an old Geforce 3 graphics-card I got from a friend, he didn't use it anymore because this piece of a device only caused problems.
But it also didn't work in my mom's PC....

Being interested in HW, I decided to get the GPU-cooler off the chip....
And SURPRISE it is not a "real" Geforce 3 Pro, it has no label, a piece of the chip had been broken out and different, to those on the original, memory-coolers are mounted I don't know if intended or accidentally.
